How TKJ Global Media Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (registration 08272919) handles personal data on this website and in the Dial an Order service.
Who we are
Dial an Order is operated by TKJ Global Media Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales (registration 08272919) (“we”, “us”), the company behind Phone Call Desk. This notice explains how we handle personal data when you visit this website, ask for a quote, or use Dial an Order as a takeaway's customer.
We act as a controller for the data of website visitors. When Dial an Order takes a call for a takeaway, the takeaway is the controller of its own customers' data and we act as its processor, under the same terms as the rest of Phone Call Desk.
Data we collect on this website
The quote form: the name, business, email address, phone number and any message you send us. We use it to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to set your account up. A short-lived cookie keeps the form secure. We do not run advertising trackers.
Data processed on a call
To take an order, the assistant processes the caller's phone number, the live audio of the call, the transcript, the order itself (items, prices, a delivery address if any), and payment details — the amount and whether it was paid, never a card number, which is entered on Stripe's own page. Audio recording is off unless the takeaway turns it on; the transcript and the order are the record.
This processing happens on our servers in London and with the sub-processors listed on our trust page.
Retention
Website enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. An order is a financial record and keeps its lines, prices and total; the caller's name and delivery address are erased and their number masked when the takeaway's retention period is up, or sooner on request. A customer record (a caller's saved name and address for next time) is deleted outright, not merely anonymised, when asked.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interests. If a takeaway using Dial an Order took your call, ask that takeaway first: it decides what happens to your order's data, and we will help it respond.
